We are excited to announce our next workshops, held in conjunction with our friends at RhinoLeap Productions. The workshops will be held at the Sunset Theatre. There will be two different workshops held on this date. However, they will be conducted at the same time, meaning you’ll only be able to attend one of them.
Workshop #1 — Lighting Design
Workshop #2 — Stage Management
The first workshop will be conducted by Jennifer Wynn O’Kelly, who is the lighting designer for RhinoLeap’s upcoming production of “Leaving Eden.” She also designed lights for RhinoLeap’s production of “To Kill a Mockingbird.” She has been designing set and lights all over the southeastern United States since 1989. Ms. O’Kelly earned her master’s degree in Scenic Design at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts, is a member of the the International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees and founding member of Delurk Gallery in Winston-Salem, N.C.
The second workshop will be helmed by Cynita Lew, who is the stage manager for RhinoLeap’s upcoming production of “Leaving Eden.” She lives in Raleigh, N.C. Ms. Lew has worked as a stage manager across central North Carolina since graduating from East Carolina University in May, 2018.
Both workshops are intended for individuals aged 14 and above only. Adults outside of the normal RYTC age of 18 are welcome to attend.
Please note there will be a limit of 10 people for each workshop. These spots are on a first-come, first-served basis. Absolutely no spots will be held without payment.
We have two different sections that you need to fill out. Since we are limited to 10 spots in each workshop, the first form will keep track of how many campers are signed up for each workshop. If no spots are available for a workshop – a message stating that will be displayed.
You must fill out both forms and then continue on to make the payment. Your spot is not guaranteed until you have paid for the camp!
After completing the registration form, please send payment via PayPal’s secure transaction platform. Online payment is strongly preferred. If you prefer to pay in cash, please email firstname.lastname@example.org no later than November 14th to make alternate payment plans. All payment must be received prior to the workshops with no exceptions.
